Pre wedding shoot | Woodbridge | Suffolk
Unless you are a celebrity, it’s unlikely that you will ever be photographed more than you are on your wedding day, and for some people that can be an issue. I really like the pre-wedding shoot as it gives us a chance to discuss among other things, how you feel about being photographed. We then head out on the shoot, which is very informal and takes place somewhere special to you. It means you get used to spending some time in front of the camera without any stress or pressure. A complimentary print is included but you could also use the images for a signing mount or book, or have your favourite one framed.
These images were taken at the bride’s parents’ house near Woodbridge in Suffolk, which is where the wedding reception will be held.
I’m really looking forward to being their wedding photographer this summer.
Pre-wedding shoot in Southwold, Suffolk
It was 2009 when I first met Claire and Chris and they booked me as their wedding photographer for their wedding this July, so it was really good to meet up again, find out more about their plans for the day, and to have their pre-wedding shoot.
Shortly after their wedding, Claire and Chris will be moving to Singapore to work for a few years, and one of the things they will miss will be the glorious Suffolk coast, so I suggested we might do the pre-wedding shoot in Southwold. Now I am very fond of the Suffolk beaches in the winter, when they are all but deserted and it has become a family tradition that we go for a walk on Southwold beach on New Year’s Day. For some bizarre reason I assumed we would have the place almost to ourselves, but on a glorious day in half term, it was never going to be!
Here are some of the images from the shoot and I have tried my best to make it look like we were the only ones there!
Pre wedding shoot | Aldeburgh | Suffolk
It’s almost a year since I first met Hannah and Adam and they asked me to be their wedding photographer, so it was great to get together again for their pre-wedding shoot and to find out a bit more about their wedding day. We met for coffee and a chat at the Brudenell Hotel in Aldeburgh, then headed out onto the beach.

I’m really looking forward to the wedding next month at Hintlesham Hall, which will be all Christmassy!
